Classical and Clear Energy Yoga

Lisa teaches educational and transformative yoga workshops and series. Some of her favorites topics include the Bhagavad Gita, permaculture and the chakras, the koshas, the eight-fold path, and anything clear energy-related. Lisa is a certified provider of Yoga Alliance credit hours (YACEP) and welcome to inquiries from any individual or studio interested in her offerings.

An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Clear Energy Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras, such as Sat Nam, meaning "truth is my identity." The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.

Lisa's Yoga Journey

Lisa was drawn to yoga as a way to relieve her suffering. As a new mom, she found herself experiencing frequent panic attacks and chronic anxiety. She was lucky enough to start her journey with an incredibly supportive Kripalu certified teacher, Maddy Bottari-Eaton. In her very first class, Lisa experienced a moment of deep peace. Even though it was just a moment, that experience of peace planted a seed of promise. After just a few months of weekly practice, Lisa's panic attacks subsided and her overall anxiety decreased. Over time and years of practice, yoga has helped Lisa to enjoy more and more well-being.

Motivated by the results in her own life, Lisa became a yoga teacher. She began in 2005 studying Classical Yoga and continuing to the 500 hour level of certification. She joined the YogaLife faculty and led teacher training seminars. She also became certified in Kundalini Yoga and taught classes in both traditions. While she is not certified as a yoga therapist, Lisa has completed 300 hours of training in yoga therapy.

"Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion."
